[Pakistan] Saiful Muluk Lake

The Guardian ranked Saiful Muluk Lake as the 5th Best Tourist Destination in Pakistan. A children's story called Saiful Muluk, composed by the acclaimed sufi writer Mian Muhammad Bakhsh, is fraternized with the pond. It is the story of sovereign of Persia who became hopelessly enamored with a pixie princess at the pond.

The effect of the pond delightfulness is of such degree that individuals accept that pixies descend to bay in full moon.A writer and scholar from Balakot Ahmad Hussain Mujahid composed the story of Saiful Muluk in writing portraying the neighborhood form.

Saiful Muluk Lake
Saiful Muluk Lake is a lake located at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley near Naran. The weather here is moderate during day time while the temperature drops to minus degrees at night. It is in the north east of Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. At an altitude of 3,224 m (10,578 feet) above sea level it is amongst one of the highest lakes in Pakistan.


Mansehra District has had a prospering tourism industry in the past owed to its a significant number of mountain runs and the Saiful Muluk Lake, yet after the 2005 seismic tremor the area has perceived an abatement in tourists. This bay is about a few thousand feet above the ground level of Naran, this grand bay reflects a large number of colors in moments. Of late there has been an interest in fabricating lodgings in the territory.
